Poggio Tre Lune is unique in both concept and style. Even though this Farm Villa (its name means “Three Moons Hilltop”) is close to Florence, it is set amongst 47 hectares of beautiful farmland and rolling hills, with expansive views of the Arno Valley.

Over the years the original buildings, which date back to the late 15th century, have undergone a series of functional developments in order to improve on comfort and standard of living. These improvements, combined with the ongoing practice of the Farm’s daily activities, have resulted in an architectural structure which is set in perfect harmony with the surrounding landscape; one example being the impressive Tower, built in 1800.

Nowadays the Farm Villa is composed of three distinct buildings that are pleasantly integrated yet functionally independent, surrounded by spacious gardens with mature trees and tracts of native woodland.

Poggio Tre Lune lends itself to an extended tourist season due to its ideal location: it is only 26km south-east of Florence by road, and 3km from Rignano Sull’Arno railway station with frequent connections to Florence, Pisa, Arezzo and other beautiful historical cities. It is also very close to one of the most important outlet centres in Europe.

The estate is reached by a country road on which heavy vehicles are prohibited, which makes it an oasis of peace.
